Edwardian Lace Bridal Top and Skirt
Edwardian lace bridal top and skirt. This was originally a dress but was reconfigured into a cropped swing top and long skirt.
Lace top is fully embroidered with padded cotton thread on netting/tulle. It is unlined. It has small covered buttons running up the center back and has ruffled lace cuffs which close with hidden snaps.
The skirt is similarly embroidered. It is lined to the knee with silk charmeuse and has an asymmetric button back. A zipper was added to create a more secure closure and the waist is elasticized.
Important! There is discoloration in various areas on this piece but they actually give the piece a lot of character. Most of the discoloration is on the back skirt hem. Rather than removing or trying to over dye the piece, it has been left intact for the buyer to determine a course of action. Additional pictures to show areas of concern can be sent if interested.
Waist fits 25"-35"
Please see description for details. There are imperfections consistent with a 100+ year old lace piece, however, they are in regards to coloration. There are no rips, holes, etc..
