1920's Antique French Cotton Tuxedo Smock Shirt

Description:

1920s Edwardian antique French cotton long dress smock shirt. Mother-of-pearl buttons at the front placket and cuff. Deep side slits with a shorter front and longer back. The shirt is made from two different types of cotton. The yoke and cuffs are of textured cotton with a tonal stripe, while the body is a plain cotton broadcloth. There is a small pink embroidered detail under the center front tab. 100% cotton.

Condition:

Very Good condition for age. There is fraying along the collar and small spots just under the center front button tab. There are also a few small spots near the front right hem. None of these details detracts from the beauty of this shirt and only add character.
